Hey! I'm Kelli, an award winning Product Designer currently at Aetna Digital in Denver, Colorado.

When I was little, I was the kid incessantly asking, "why?". Over and over again adults would patiently answer my inquiries with rational responses until they finally became exasperated with my infinite asking of "but why?" and just say "because." This innate curiosity to understand the world around me and immerse myself in everything from a young age, while at times I'm sure exceedingly annoying to my parents, is what makes me a natural UX Designer. I want to learn from my users' perspectives, hear from a variety of voices, understand the science and mechanics behind how things work, optimize my workflow for efficiencies, entertain new philosophies and concepts, and continually keep learning.

DESIGN THINKING APPROACH
Following a design thinking model allows for both a creatively and functionally effective solution. Taking into consideration the unique needs of any given audience and first empathizing with them reduces the risk that red flags will be overlooked, and the solution can be as simple as it is elegant.
